Top 5 Fantasy Quarterbacks for Week 15

1. Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos

Manning is the No. 1 fantasy quarterback this season, and it's really not even that close. He leads the second closest competitor, Drew Brees, by 48 points, which is over two total games of fantasy points for the New Orleans Saints quarterback. He has also thrown for 25 touchdowns compared to just four interceptions in seven home starts this season. Manning and Co. will now be taking on a San Diego Chargers defense the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season.

Projected Statistics: 365 passing yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions

2. Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers

Newton hasn't necessarily put up great numbers over the past three games, six touchdowns and three interceptoins, but he is still the No. 3 fantasy quarterback through 14 weeks and has the honor of lining up against a New York jets defense that has yielded the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. While Newton likely won't put up much on the ground, he should be able to cripple a secondary that includes washups such as Ed Reed and Antonio Cromartie and a struggling rookie in the form of Dee Milliner

Projected Statistics: 320 passing yards, 25 rushing yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions

3. Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers

Tonight's game is going to be something to behold when it comes to fantasy football. You already see Peyton Manning listed above, but Rivers is going to put up some spectacular numbers himself. Denver is giving up an average of 309 total yards and 20.44 fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks in 2013, which ranks it 29th in the NFL in that category. In addition, Rivers will have to put the ball up a ton in order to keep San Diego in the game against one of the best offenses in the recent history of the NFL.

Projected Statistics: 365 passing yards, three touchdowns and one interception

4. Colin Kaepernick, San Francisco 49ers

The last time that I had Kaepernick in this weekly article, he responded by putting up 255 total yards and three touchdowns against the Washington Redskins. That was good enough to rank him fourth among quarterbacks in fantasy points, Kaepernick's best individual performance since Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers. He now takes on a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that is yielding the third-most fantasy points to quarterbacks in 2013.

Projected Statistics: 240 passing yards, 40 rushing yards, three total touchdowns and one interception

5. Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles

Foles didn't quite have a great game against the Detroit Lions last week, but we can likely chalk that up to what were disastrous weather conditions. The good news here is that Foles and the Eagles will be taking on a Minnesota Vikings defense that ranks dead last in the NFL against fantasy quarterbacks and is yielding an average of 312 total yards per game. Look for a bounce back fantasy performance here.

Projected Statistics: 280 passing yards, three touchdowns and one interception
