Top 5 Fantasy Quarterbacks for Week 4

1. Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos

2013 Statistics: 1,143 passing yards, 12 touchdowns and zero interceptions

Those are video game numbers right there, maybe rookie mode on Madden. What we are witnessing from Manning right now is downright absurd. If the future Hall of Fame quarterback continues on this torrid pace, we'd be looking at over 6,000 passing yards and 64 touchdowns. I know that's about as likely as Blaine Gabbert morphing into Aaron Rodgers, but it's still fun to look at. Manning now has the pleasure of going up against a Philadelphia Eagles defense that has given up over 1,000 pasing yards and a 96.9 rating to opposing quarterbacks this season. Philadelphia has also given up the sixth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this in 2013.

Projected Statistics: 385 passing yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions

2. Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys

2013 Statistics: 771 passing yards, six touchdowns and one interception

Romo might be playing some great football thus far this season, but he's actually struggled a tad in terms of fantasy. The veteran is currently the 14th-ranked fantasy quarterback through three weeks. That should change against a San Diego Chargers defense that has given up nearly 1,100 passing yards and six touchdowns compared to one interception to opposing quarterbacks this season. They have also yielded the second-most fantasy points to that position in 2013. San Diego's success against the run, 93.3 yards per game, seems to suggest that it will force Romo into more pass attempts than we have seen in the past. While that might mean the possibility of more mistakes, it will give the signal caller more opportunities to gain yards and scores.

Projected Statistics: 340 passing yards, three touchdowns and one interception

3. Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints

2013 Statistics: 1,021 passing yards, six touchdowns and four interceptions

Is Brees regressing as a fantasy quarterback? He's still the fourth-ranked fantasy quarterback this season, but has now thrown 23 interceptions in his last 19 starts and is on pace to throw his lowest amount of touchdowns since 2007. Brees is going up against a vastly improved Miami Dolphins defense on Monday Night Football. That would normally be cause for alarm, but he has thrown 53 touchdowns compared to 13 interceptions in his last 16 home starts. Those are some startling numbers right there. Expect a solid fantasy performance for the Saints' defense.

Projected Statistics: 340 passing yards, three touchdowns and one interception

4. Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts

2013 Statistics: 663 passing yards, three touchdowns and one interception

Three interceptions in three games. That's not exactly an indicator of a top-notch QB1 option. Add Trent Richardson and Ahmad Bradshaw to the mix, and you have the makings of continued fantasy struggles for Luck. With that said, he has only thrown one interception in 93 attempts this season after averaging one pick per 45 attempts in 2012. This is an indication that Luck has cut down on his mistakes. Indianapolis goes up against a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that has allowed seven touchdowns and intercepted just one pass in three games. Opposing quarterbacks have a 108.9 rating against them this year.

Projected Statistics: 290 passing yards, three touchdowns and one interception

5. Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles

2013 Statistics: 832 passing yards, 187 rushing yards, seven total touchdowns and two interceptions

Vick seems to have regressed a bit when it comes to decision making over the past two weeks after opening up with a bang against the Washington Redskins in Week 1. That being said, he still has only two interceptions through three games and is the second-ranked fantasy quarterback. Philadelphia goes up against a Denver Broncos defense that ranks in the middle of the pack against fantasy quarterbacks. In what promises to be a high-scoring affair, Vick and Co. will have to shoot it out against Denver. This may lead to more mistakes, but he'll definitely rack up the necessary fantasy points to be a top-five option.

Projected Statistics: 275 passing yards, 60 rushing yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions
