With 10 games to pick from on the Saturday night slate, we have plenty of options to build a solid lineup. On the surface, tonight could look similar to Thursday night’s scoring bonanza, though I doubt we’ll see two blow out games like that. 1. Calgary Flames – At this point, we know the story with the Flames: bad peripheral numbers, good results. That doesn’t make sense and it’s frustrating, but we’ve learned to live with it now and enjoy the ride. The top line of the Flames is not yet a fully dominant line, but they are putting up points and carrying the Flames. Against the lowly Oilers, who are coming off an 8-2 curbstomping by Los Angeles, the Flames should burn bright. Fire up the top line and pair with one of Calgary’s top defenders, seasoned to your salary situation: Dennis Wideman, Kris Russell, and T.J. Brodie.
