TOP GOALTENDER PLAYS

Braden Holtby ($8,600) & Cory Schneider ($8,600) – There is a lack of good goaltending options for daily fantasy, and Holtby and Schneider are two that stand out above the pack. Holtby is the top choice for cash game lineups considering his strong season (among league leaders in wins, save percentage and goals against average) and with the Capitals as a good sized favorite. Schneider is a great choice for tournament lineups, considering the fact that the Devils are home underdogs, and he can often steal wins for the Devils.

TOP CENTER PLAYS

John Tavares ($9,000) – Tavares is well regarded as one of the league’s best offensive players, and he’s proven that with five goals and 12 points over his past seven games. The matchup for Tavares and the Islanders is a favored one again with a home game against the Flames, who are a middle of the pack team both offensively and defensively. Tavares and the Islanders top line (with Anders Lee and Josh Bailey) are one of the most productive lines in hockey over the past month, and that trend should continue this evening.

Kucherov is having a major breakout season for the Bolts with 53 points so far and a league leading +32 rating, and he shows no signs of slowing down. For daily fantasy, Kucherov is a good play in both cash game and tournament lineups, and as part of a line stack, or an individual player for a mixed lineup.
