Diamondbacks 7, Padres 2

Mark Reynolds hit a pair of two-run homers and drove in five runs, leading the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 7-2 win over San Diego on Monday night and extending the Padres' season-high losing streak to five games.

Reynolds' first-inning home run broke a 2-2 tie and capped Arizona's four-run rally. He homered again in the third, giving the Diamondbacks a four-run lead. Both home runs came off Wade LeBlanc (8-12), who allowed six runs in three innings.

Reynolds, who had three hits, added an RBI single in the eighth.

Joe Saunders (8-14) gave up Miguel Tejada's two-run homer in the first, but shut out the Padres over the next seven innings. Saunders allowed 10 hits, but didn't walk a batter and struck out two.

The Diamondbacks answered quickly against LeBlanc in the first. Stephen Drew walked and Justin Upton singled. Miguel Montero doubled in both runs and Mark Reynolds followed with his first homer of the night.

Chris Young singled with one out in the third and scored on Reynolds' second homer.
