Rockies 0, Mets 4

The Colorado Rockies' offensive woes in New York continued Thursday as Johan Santana threw a four-hitter to lead the Mets to a 4-0 victory.

Santana (10-6) struck out 10 and allowed a pair of walks on 115 pitches. He has not surrendered a run in 16 innings against Colorado in his career.

Jose Reyes, Carlos Beltran, Angel Pagan and Fernando Martinez each drove in a run as the Mets took the three-game set.

The Rockies were shut out twice in the series and have failed to score six of the last nine times the teams have met in New York.

The Mets took a 2-0 lead in the first on Pagan's RBI single and Beltran's sacrifice fly. They added two more in the seventh on Reyes' RBI single and Martinez's sacrifice fly.

Beltran went 3-for-3 and Reyes added two hits for the Mets, who had nine hits after managing a total of seven in the first two games of the series.

Rockies starter Jason Hammel (8-7) allowed four runs on eight hits over seven innings.
