Brewers 3, Marlins 2

Nyjer Morgan hit a rare home run, Prince Fielder also went deep and the Milwaukee Brewers won consecutive road games for the first time in more than six weeks with a 3-2 victory over the Florida Marlins on Saturday.

Yovani Gallardo (8-2) won his sixth straight start to match Pittsburgh's Kevin Correia for the most wins in the National League, and he improved to 3-0 in four starts against the Marlins. He allowed two runs — one earned — over six innings and has not allowed more than two runs in any of his last six starts.

The Brewers had not won back-to-back road games since April 18-19 at Philadelphia, but they've rallied late to win the first two games of this series. Ryan Braun hit a go-ahead, pinch-hit home run Friday, and Yuniesky Betancourt followed Fielder's home run Saturday with a go-ahead double in the two-run seventh.

Morgan's solo homer in the third was his first home run since July 28, 2009, when he hit one against the Brewers while playing for Washington. He had 666 official at-bats between the home runs.

Fielder homered for the second night in a row, hitting a solo shot to the opposite field for his 13th of the season. That matches Braun for the team lead.
