Orioles 6, Indians 3

Alexi Casilla belted a three-run homer and Chris Davis added a two-run blast in the seventh inning as Baltimore scored five times to rally past visiting Cleveland.

Davis tied the game at 3-3 with his major league-leading 28th homer and Casilla followed four batters later with his first of the season into the right field seats. Chris Tillman (9-2) allowed three runs and four hits over seven innings to earn his career-high sixth straight victory and Jim Johnson pitched a scoreless ninth for his 27th save as the Orioles snapped a four-game skid.

Jason Kipnis had a pair of hits for the Indians, including a two-run homer in the fifth inning for a 3-0 lead. Cleveland starter Justin Masterson (9-6) retired the first 12 batters he faced, but left the game following Casilla’s homer after yielding six runs and six hits over 6 1/3 innings.

Mike Aviles singled and moved to third after a pair of walks before scoring on Michael Brantley’s sacrifice fly to give the Indians a 1-0 lead in the first. Michael Bourn doubled to lead off the fifth and trotted home when Kipnis drilled a 3-1 pitch from Tillman over the left-center field wall.

Adam Jones singled, moved to third on a base hit by Davis and scored on J.J. Hardy’s groundout in the bottom of the fifth to get the Orioles on the board. Masterson hit Jones to start the seventh before Davis jumped on the next pitch, delivering a shot way over the right field wall.
