Phillies 4, Rockies 3

Michael Young delivered a game-ending single in the ninth inning to cap a two-run rally and lift Philadelphia to its third win in four games.

Pinch hitter Carlos Ruiz doubled home the tying run and scored the winning run on Young's liner down the left-field line against Rafael Betancourt (2-4), who gave up three hits and recorded only one out.

The rally made a winner of Jake Diekman (1-3), who pitched a scoreless ninth after Nolan Arenado's RBI single had given the Rockies a 3-2 lead in the eighth and put them in line for their first consecutive road wins since June 22-23 at Washington.

Philadelphia's Chase Utley homered in the first for a 1-0 lead, but Colorado answered in the second when Wilin Rosario drove a first-pitch fastball to the opposite field for his 19th home run and Dexter Fowler put the Rockies on top with an RBI single.

The Phillies tied it at 2 when Young hit into a double play with the bases loaded in the fifth.
