Yasiel Puig capped a three-run sixth inning with a sacrifice fly that snapped a tie and helped host Los Angeles to its sixth straight victory.
Nick Punto belted a solo homer and Adrian Gonzalez went 3-for-4 with an RBI for the Dodgers, who maintained their 7 1/2-game lead over Arizona in the National League West. Los Angeles improved to 38-8 since June 22 and 21-3 since the All-Star break.
New York took a 2-0 lead in the second inning on back-to-back RBI singles by John Buck and Omar Quintanilla. Jenrry Mejia (1-2) made it stand until the sixth, when Gonzalez began a rally by plating a run with Los Angeles' third straight single to start the frame.
Mark Ellis scored on center fielder Juan Lagares' throwing error and Gonzalez trotted home on Puig's sacrifice fly to deep left field to put the Dodgers ahead. Punto added insurance in the seventh with his second blast of the season.
Ricky Nolasco (9-9) allowed two runs and seven hits in 6 1/3 innings as he improved to 4-1 in seven starts since being acquired from Miami. Kenley Jansen retired all four batters he faced - three by strikeout - for his 18th save.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Mejia lasted six innings, yielding three runs - two earned - and six hits. ... Gonzalez extended his RBI streak to seven games. He has driven in nine runs during that stretch. ...
