Blue Jays 4, Twins 0
Blue Jays 4, Twins 0: Mark Buehrle tossed seven superb innings and Jose Bautista reached the 20-homer plateau for the fourth straight season as host Toronto extended Minnesota's losing streak to six games.
Buehrle (5-5) scattered six hits while fanning five as he continued his recent dominance over the Twins. The veteran left-hander has allowed just seven runs - one earned - over his last 37 2/3 innings against Minnesota.
Twins starter Kevin Correia (6-6) surrendered four runs on 10 hits over six innings, extending his winless streak to three starts. Brian Dozier and Oswaldo Arcia led Minnesota's offensive attack with two hits apiece.
Bautista opened the scoring in the third, drilling Correia's pitch into the seats in straightaway center field. Reyes increased the lead in the fourth with a double down the right-field line that brought home Maicer Izturis and J.P. Arencibia before scoring on Bautista's single up the middle.
Buehrle and two relievers took over from there, not allowing a runner past second base after the third inning.
