Brewers 6, Phillies 2

Khris Davis drove in a pair of runs and Ryan Braun completed a terrific series as visiting Milwaukee wrapped up a three-game sweep.

Carlos Gomez added three hits for the Brewers, who completed their first road trip at 6-0 after not winning more than four straight road games at any point last season. Braun had two hits and drove in a run, giving him 10 RBIs during the three-game set.

Milwaukee starter Marco Estrada (1-0) was solid over six innings, yielding two runs, five hits and a pair of walks with six strikeouts. Cliff Lee (2-1) also went six innings for Philadelphia, allowing three runs on eight hits and striking out eight without issuing a walk.

The Phillies took an early 1-0 lead before the Brewers plated two runs in the fourth, including the go-ahead single by Davis, and added an additional run in the sixth on Davis' RBI double to right-center. Philadelphia inched within 3-2 in the bottom half of the sixth, but its one-run deficit was short-lived.

The Brewers tacked on three runs in the seventh against reliever Jeff Manship as Gomez and Jean Segura delivered RBI singles before Braun's sacrifice fly capped the scoring. Marlon Byrd homered and had two RBIs and Chase Utley added a pair of hits for Philadelphia, which was outscored 25-10 in its three games versus Milwaukee and has lost four straight games overall.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Utley returned to the lineup after missing the last two games with the flu. ... The Brewers recorded 17 extra-base hits in the series, including three home runs by Braun in Tuesday's opener. ... The Phillies continue their homestand with a three-game set against Miami while Milwaukee returns home to face Pittsburgh.
