Jazz 101, Bucks 99: Gordon Hayward scored 24 points, including the last five down the stretch for Utah, to halt a four-game road skid.
Enes Kanter added 23 points and 16 rebounds for the Jazz, who finished 14-of-31 from 3-point range. Rudy Gobert collected 14 points and 10 rebounds while Dante Exum drained five 3-pointers en route to a career-high 15 points for Utah, which won for only the second time in seven games.
Brandon Knight and Jared Dudley scored 16 points apiece for the Bucks, who forced 22 turnovers. Giannis Antetokounmpo collected 13 points and five steals while Zaza Pachulia had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Bucks, who finished 10-of-12 from the foul line.
Kanter and Hayward each scored five points during a key 10-0 burst to put the Jazz in front 99-91 with 3:10 remaining. Dudley drained a clutch 3-pointer to cap off a 7-0 spurt to pull the Bucks within 101-99 but he missed a potential game-winning triple with 6.7 seconds remaining and Milwaukee had two chances to send the game into overtime but Knight's jumper was long and Pachulia's tip-in missed the mark.
The Jazz buried five 3-pointers in the first quarter to jump ahead 26-16 and they led by 14 before Milwaukee's O.J. Mayo sparked a 12-2 surge to trim the deficit to 37-33 midway through the second stanza. Utah led 53-47 at the break before Knight scored eight points as part of a 15-3 run to put the Bucks on top 65-58.
