Dodgers 7, Rockies 1

Andre Ethier and James Loney knocked in three runs apiece and the Los Angeles Dodgers extended the visiting Colorado Rockies' road woes with a 7-1 win on Monday.

Chad Billingsley (4-4) allowed one run on 11 hits while striking out eight over seven innings to pick up the win. Billingsley entered the contest with a 5.40 ERA in 12 career starts against Colorado.

After going 10-3 on the road in April, the Rockies dropped to 2-10 away from home this month.

One day after pounding out a season-high 17 hits in an 8-0 win over the Florida Marlins, the Dodgers scored four runs in the third and three in the fifth against the Rockies.

Jason Hammel (3-5) gave up seven runs on 10 hits over 4 1/3 innings after going at least six frames in each of his last nine starts.

Ty Wigginton blasted his fourth home run for the Rockies, who began a nine-game, 10-day road trip against National League West teams.

Loney's third home run capped a three-run fifth inning for the Dodgers, who have won three of their last four.
