Rockies 3, Dodgers 1
Aaron Cook stymied the Los Angeles Dodgers with seven shutout innings to lead the visiting Colorado Rockies to a 3-1 victory on Wednesday night.

Troy Tulowitzki had three hits, drove in two runs and scored the other as Colorado remained ahead of Los Angeles in the National League West.
Rex Brothers struck out two in the eighth and Huston Street allowed Rod Barajas’ ninth-inning homer before recording his 27th save.
Colorado strung together consecutive two-out singles from Eric Young Jr., Dexter Fowler and Tulowitzki in the fifth to take a 1-0 lead.
Tulowitzki doubled with two outs in the seventh and scored when Ty Wigginton ripped a double down the left-field line against Blake Hawksworth.
Fowler singled in the ninth, stole second and scored on Tulowitzki’s single off the glove of Dodgers shortstop Rafael Furcal.
Hiroki Kuroda (6-13) gave up one run and six hits in six innings. He struck out six and walked three.
