Reds 8, Padres 2 (11)
Ryan Hanigan drove in the go-ahead run in the 11th inning and Drew Stubbs added a three-run homer as the Cincinnati Reds ran away from the San Diego Padres 8-2 on Tuesday.
Logan Ondrusek (2-0) pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings of relief to pick up the win for the Reds, who will go for a sweep of the three-game series on Wednesday.
The Padres left the bases loaded in the ninth and 10th, which gave Cincinnati its opportunity in the 11th.
The Reds rallied with two outs and pushed the go-ahead run across when Hanigan reached Cory Luebke (0-1) for a double to left. Jay Bruce drew a walk, and Chris Heisey and Edgar Renteria followed with RBI singles in front of Stubbs.
Nick Masset came on in the eighth with the Reds leading 2-1, and allowed a leadoff single to Nick Hundley and a double to Cameron Maybin before Eric Patterson tied the game with a groundout to second.
The blown save overshadowed a stellar outing from Cincinnati starter Sam LeCure, who struck out eight and allowed one run and one hit in six innings.
