Athletics 6, Angels 1

Guillermo Moscoso pitched six shutout innings to earn his first career win and David DeJesus homered twice to help visiting Oakland snap a six-game losing streak with a 6-1 win over the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday.

Moscoso, who was called up Tuesday to start for Oakland's injury-depleted pitching staff, allowed just three hits and never allowed a runner past second base in his first Major League start.

DeJesus hit a solo home run in the second inning off Angels starter Dan Haren (4-3) and a two-run homer in the fourth before finishing with an RBI double in the ninth.

Haren, who hasn't won since April 17, pitched seven innings, allowing five runs and seven hits.

Torii Hunter drove in Los Angeles' lone run in the eighth inning with a single to give him seven RBIs in his past five games.
