Chris Johnson and Miguel Montero homered and rookie Patrick Corbin tossed six scoreless innings as visiting Arizona completed a three-game sweep of Los Angeles.

Corbin (3-4) gave up two hits with five strikeouts for the Diamondbacks, who won their sixth consecutive game against the Dodgers while recording their first three-game sweep at Chavez Ravine since August 2007.

Montero gave Arizona an early lead with his run-scoring single in the first off rookie Stephen Fife (0-1), who exited after allowing two runs over 4 1/3 innings.

Johnson, who was acquired from Houston on Sunday, homered with one out in the fifth inning to cap a successful series with his new team. Johnson had two homers and seven RBIs in the three games.

Arizona extended its lead in the top of the eighth with Montero’s two-run homer to center field off Randy Choate. Montero had two homers in the series and leads all major league catchers with 63 RBIs.

Shane Victorino went 0-for-4 while leading off and playing left field in his first game with the Dodgers, who were outscored 19-4 in the series. Los Angeles didn't have a single baserunner after Jerry Hairston walked to lead off the fourth inning.

The loss dropped the Dodgers 1 1/2 games behind National League West-leading San Francisco, which plays Wednesday evening. The Diamondbacks have won 10 of their last 13 games to move three games behind the Giants.
