Shin-Soo Choo delivered a two-out walk-off single in the 11th inning as host Cincinnati posted its fourth win in five games.
Todd Frazier drew a leadoff walk from Javier Lopez (1-1) and advanced on Chris Heisey's sacrifice. Three batters later, Choo lined a base hit into right field, bringing Frazier in from second base with the winning run.
Heisey homered and drove in two runs while Devin Mesoraco went 3-for-4 for the Reds, who will attempt to complete a sweep of the four-game series Thursday afternoon. J.J. Hoover (2-5) picked up the victory as he struck out four over two scoreless innings of relief.
Heisey gave Cincinnati a 1-0 lead in the second inning with a sacrifice fly, but Tony Abreu belted a two-out, two-run homer in the fifth to put San Francisco on top. Heisey evened the contest an inning later by depositing an 0-1 pitch from reliever George Kontos over the left-field wall for a one-out solo shot.
Abreu collected two of the five hits by San Francisco, which has lost 11 of 13 overall and fell to 1-8 on its 10-game road trip.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Giants have collected a total of seven hits over the first three games of the series. ... San Francisco starter Barry Zito allowed one run and seven hits over four innings, while Cincinnati's Tony Cingrani yielded two runs and four hits in 5 2/3 frames. ...
