Rangers 6, Orioles 4

Josh Hamilton and Vladimir Guerrero each belted a three-run homer as the Texas Rangers completed a disappointing seven-game road trip with a 6-4 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday.

Hamilton scored a pair of runs and Tommy Hunter pitched eight solid innings for the Rangers, who won for just the fifth time in 14 games to finish 2-5 on their trek.

Texas got to former teammate Kevin Millwood early, grabbing a 3-0 lead before an out was recorded. Elvis Andrus hit a leadoff single and Michael Young walked before Hamilton launched his 28th home run of the season.

After Baltimore got on the board on Nick Markakis' RBI single in the fourth, Guerrero made it a 6-1 advantage in the fifth with a three-run blast of his own. It was the first homer since July 31 for the slugger, who entered with just four RBIs in his previous 17 games this month.

Hunter (10-2), who had posted a 9.39 ERA in his previous four starts, allowed three runs and five hits in improving to 4-2 on the road. The 24-year-old did not walk or strike out a batter.

Neftali Feliz yielded a leadoff homer by Ty Wigginton in the ninth before striking out the side and nailing down his 31st save in 34 chances.

Millwood (2-14) suffered his sixth straight loss, surrendering six runs and six hits in six innings. The 35-year-old, who spent the previous four seasons with Texas, fell to 1-6 in 13 home starts and 0-13 against American League opponents this year.

Luke Scott hit a two-run homer for the Orioles, who lost for just the fourth time in their last 14 games vs. AL West opponents.
