Orioles 10, White Sox 4
Matt Wieters homered and drove in four runs as the Baltimore Orioles roared back from an early deficit for a 10-4 road win over the Chicago White Sox on Friday night.
A.J. Pierzynski's two-run homer in the second inning helped Chicago to an early 3-0 lead, but the Orioles soon ignited their offense.
Luke Scott tied the game with a solo homer in the fourth inning and Baltimore pulled ahead in the sixth when Wieters belted a two-run shot off John Danks (0-4).
The White Sox cut it to 5-4 on a solo home run by Brent Lillibridge, but Baltimore tagged Chicago's bullpen for five runs in the seventh inning to put it away. Wieters and Brian Roberts each hit a two-run double to highlight the frame.
Jake Arrieta (3-1) worked five innings for the win, allowing three runs on five hits.
Danks suffered through his toughest start of the season, allowing eight hits and five earned runs in six innings.
