Orioles 6, White Sox 2
Chris Tillman picked up his first victory of the season to lead the visiting Baltimore Orioles to a 6-2 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Saturday night.
The Orioles took a 1-0 lead in the first inning when Brian Roberts scored on a wild pitch by Philip Humber (2-3), and doubled their lead in the third on a solo home run by Robert Andino.
After Chicago got within a run on Alex Rios' sacrifice fly in the sixth, Baltimore put it away with four runs in the eighth against reliever Matt Thornton, including a two-run infield single by Vladimir Guerrero.
Tillman (1-2) scattered six hits and two walks over five innings. Mike Gonzalez and Koji Uehara followed with a combined three innings of hitless relief before Chicago got a solo homer from Rios in the ninth.
Humber yielded two runs on three hits in seven innings as the White Sox fell to 3-14 in their last 17 games.
