Taylor Teagarden lined a two-out RBI double in the 10th inning to snap a scoreless tie as Baltimore won the final two games of a weekend series at Tampa Bay.

Teagarden, who came to the plate in the 10th inning with just two hits in 27 at-bats on the season, drove home Mark Reynolds, who walked with one out off Joel Peralta (1-4).

Tampa Bay’s David Price, who was bidding to become baseball’s first 15-game winner, allowed just two hits and struck out five in eight shutout innings. Baltimore’s Miguel Gonzalez also allowed two hits in seven innings, with four walks and four strikeouts.

Tampa Bay put runners on first and second with two outs in the ninth, but Luis Ayala (3-3) struck out Ryan Roberts to send the game into extra innings.

Jim Johnson pitched the 10th for his 32nd save.

The Rays threatened in the first inning. B.J. Upton blasted a one-out double to left-center and moved to third on Matt Joyce’s groundout. But Ben Zobrist grounded out to first to end the inning.

Baltimore put runners on first and second with one out in the second. Lew Ford doubled to center and Reynolds walked, but Price retired the next two hitters to end the threat.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Zobrist left the game in the fourth inning with upper back spasms. … The Rays host Toronto for three games starting Tuesday before starting a 10-game road trip to Minnesota, Seattle and Los Angeles. Tampa Bay is in the midst of playing 19 of 25 games away from home. … Baltimore returns home to open a nine-game homestand Monday against Seattle.
