Marlins 6, Phillies 2

Justin Ruggiano collected three hits - including a two-run double - and Josh Johnson tossed six solid innings as host Miami kept Cliff Lee winless on the season.

Giancarlo Stanton had an RBI single and scored twice for the Marlins, who have won two straight after losing 17 of their previous 20 games.

Making his 13th start of the season, Lee (0-5) struggled out of the blocks. After Jose Reyes led off the first inning with a double and scored, the Marlins pushed two more runs across in the third before Ruggiano's double to center field plated Stanton and Logan Morrison in the fifth.

John Buck added an RBI single to signal the end for Lee, who yielded a season-high six runs on 10 hits in 4 2/3 innings to take the loss.

The Marlins' six runs on Friday matched their collective output in Johnson's four previous starts. Johnson (5-5) improved to 5-2 in his last 10 outings after allowing one run on four hits while striking out six.

Hunter Pence homered for the second straight game and added an RBI single for the Phillies, who have lost three in a row.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Lee's ERA ballooned to 4.13, marking the highest it's been at this point in the season since 2007. He finished that campaign with a 6.29 ERA. ... Johnson has yielded seven earned runs over his last 33 2/3 innings (1.87 ERA).
