Rangers 5, Blue Jays 4
Michael Young's run-scoring single in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted the Texas Rangers to a come-from-behind 5-4 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday night.
The Rangers rallied off a pair of Toronto relievers to earn their 14th win in the last 16 games. With runners on second and third and one out, Elvis Andrus laid down a perfect squeeze bunt to tie the game 4-4.
Jon Rauch then walked Josh Hamilton intentionally to get to Young, whose hit to deep right field brought home pinch-runner Craig Gentry.
The late heroics made a winner out of Darren Oliver (3-5), who recorded the final out in the top of the ninth.
Mark Rzepczynski (2-3) allowed both batters he faced to reach base in the fateful ninth.
Hamilton finished with three hits and an RBI, while J.P. Arencibia had his third solo home run in two games for Toronto.
