Brewers 2, Rockies 1 (11)
Ryan Braun led off the bottom of the 11th inning with his 28th home run of the season to lift the Milwaukee Brewers to a 2-1 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday.
Prince Fielder also went deep for Milwaukee, which maintained its 6 1/2-game lead over St. Louis in the National League Central and lowered its magic number to eight.
After Colorado stranded the go-ahead run at third base in the 11th, Braun drew three straight balls from Matt Lindstrom (2-2) before taking a strike. Braun then fouled off five straight pitches before depositing Lindstrom's 10th offering over the center-field wall.
Kameron Loe (4-7) notched the win after tossing a scoreless inning.
After each team had a runner thrown out at the plate in the first two innings, Colorado took a 1-0 lead in the fourth as Seth Smith led off with a double and scored two batters later on Willin Rosario's two-base hit.
Milwaukee tied the game in the sixth when Fielder belted a one-out solo homer off Esmil Rogers, his 32nd of the season.
Colorado shortstop Troy Tulowitzki left the game in the middle of the sixth with a hip injury. He had just returned to the lineup after missing Sunday's contest with the ailment.
