Indians 3, Indians 2

Fernando Rodney (4-2) retired the first two hitters in the ninth before Brantley doubled. Asdrubal Cabrera was hit by a pitch and Choo, hitless in his first four at-bats, singled to right on a 1-0 pitch.

Jensen Lewis (4-2) retired the final hitter in the eighth for the win. Chris Perez pitched a perfect ninth for his 19th save in 23 chances.

Neither starter was involved in the decision. Arizona’s Dan Haren gave up two runs and five hits in seven innings. He struck out six and walked four. Carlos Carrasco pitched six innings, allowing two runs and six hits. He struck out six and walked two.

Shelley Duncan's sacrifice fly put Cleveland ahead in the fourth. That rally started when Travis Hafner doubled and moved to third on Jayson Nix's single. Alberto Callaspo's RBI single in the fifth scored Peter Bourjos, who tripled, and tied the game.

The Indians took the lead in the sixth when Luis Valbuena drew a bases-loaded walk off Haren, but Torii Hunter's one-out homer in the bottom of the inning tied the game again.
