Diamondbacks 4, Rockies 3

Kelly Johnson doubled in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Arizona Diamondbacks came from behind to beat the Colorado Rockies 4-3 on Friday.

After Justin Upton singled with one out in the bottom of the 10th, Johnson got to left-hander Joe Beimel (1-2) for a double to left-center, chasing Upton all the way around from first for the walk-off win.

The Diamondbacks stormed back to tie it in the ninth against Rockies closer Huston Street, putting the first two batters on before Street recovered to strike out the next two. Catcher Miguel Montero followed by slamming a double to right that pushed across Kelly Johnson and Chris Young to knot the game at 3-3.

Esmil Rogers started for Colorado and lasted 6 1/3 innings in the best start of his young career, allowing one run on six hits while walking one and striking out six. The rookie right-hander recorded nine groundouts against two flyouts, and was in line for the win before the bullpen collapsed.

Troy Tulowitzki got the struggling Colorado offense on the board in the third when his sacrifice fly off Arizona starter Ian Kennedy scored Dexter Fowler. After Fowler doubled in Young with the second run in the fourth, Tulowitzki followed with a double to right-center, chasing home Fowler to make it 3-0.
