Clayton Kershaw continued his domination of the New York Mets and the host Los Angeles Dodgers snapped a five-game losing streak with a 6-0 victory Thursday night.

Kershaw (9-4) struck out nine and gave up five hits in eight scoreless innings to improve to 4-0 lifetime against the Mets. He has allowed one run in winning his last four starts vs. New York.

Matt Kemp and Aaron Miles drove in two runs apiece as Los Angeles snapped the Mets’ four-game winning streak and avoided being swept four games by New York for the first time in franchise history.

The Dodgers, who had scored a total of seven runs during the five-game skid, erupted for five runs on four extra-base hits in the sixth inning to KO Mets starter Dillon Gee (8-3), a loser for the third time in four starts.

Kemp, Juan Uribe and Miles had RBI doubles in the inning before Dioner Navarro capped the uprising with a triple.

Gee allowed six runs – five earned – on six hits in 5 2/3 innings.
