Rockies 13, Diamondbacks 4
Jorge De La Rosa struck out 10 in six innings while Troy Tulowitzki homered twice and drove in three runs in leading the Colorado Rockies to their eighth straight win, a 13-4 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night.
De La Rosa (7-4) allowed two runs, five hits and didn't walk a batter. He also had an RBI double in Colorado's six-run third.
Tulowitzki doubled in a run in the third and hit solo home runs in the fourth and sixth. Miguel Olivio drove in three runs with a bases-loaded triple in the Rockies' big third.
Todd Helton's two-run single in the first gave Colorado a quick lead. Chris Young hit a solo homer in the second before the Rockies blew the game open in the third.
Following Tulowitzki's RBI double, Ryan Spilborghs drew a bases-loaded walk, ending the night for Arizona starter Joe Saunders. Olivo followed with his triple off D.J. Carrasco. De La Rosa's double gave the Rockies an 8-1 lead.
Chris Iannetta also hit a solo home run in the eighth.
Saunders (8-15) allowed seven runs - four earned - in 2 1/3 innings.
