Rockies 5, Mets 4

Troy Tulowitzki and Ryan Spilborghs hit home runs off New York Mets starter Jonathon Niese, and the visiting Colorado Rockies rallied from an early deficit for a 5-4 victory Wednesday.

Tulowitzki hit his National League-leading fifth home run - a three-run blast - in the fifth to give the Rockies their first lead 4-3. Spilborghs added a solo home run in the sixth, his first.

Tulowitzki went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and three RBIs. Todd Helton went 2-for-4 with an RBI in his first start after missing four with a stiff lower back.

After giving up runs in each of the first two innings, Rockies starter Esmil Rogers (2-0) settled in and lasted 5 2/3 innings, allowing three runs on seven hits. He walked four and struck out two.

Huston Street pitched a perfect ninth for his sixth save.

Niese (0-2) allowed five runs on seven hits in six innings. He struck out five and walked three.

Carlos Beltran and Angel Pagan each had two hits and an RBI for the Mets. New York's Ike Davis went without an RBI for only the second game this season.
