Diamondbacks 9, Rockies 4
Gerardo Parra had four hits, two RBIs and three runs scored while Miguel Montero belted a three-run homer as the Arizona Diamondbacks extended their winning streak to a season-high eight games Tuesday with a 9-4 victory over the visiting Colorado Rockies.

Parra, who fell a homer shy of the cycle, hit a two-run triple and scored on Upton's groundout in the third to give the Diamondbacks a 3-1 advantage. After Colorado got within a run in the fourth, Montero hit his 13th blast of the season an inning later for a 6-2 lead.
Miley (2-1) allowed two runs and nine hits in winning for the second time in three major league starts.
Aaron Cook (3-8) lasted only 4 1/3 innings for the Rockies as he surrendered six runs for the third time in four outings.
Todd Helton, Kevin Kouzmanoff and Chris Iannetta each had three hits and an RBI, Carlos Gonzalez also had three hits and Dexter Fowler hit his first homer of the year for Colorado, which has lost eight of 10 on the road.
