Indians 3, Tigers 2 (13)

Orlando Cabrera singled home Michael Brantley with one out in the bottom of the 13th inning as the Cleveland Indians extended their home winning streak to 12 games with a 3-2 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Saturday night.

Cabrera's third hit of the night came after Tigers manager Jim Leyland elected to intentionally walk Shin-Soo Choo and Carlos Santana to load the bases.

Brantley also had three hits and homered, and Santana went deep to help the Indians to their fifth straight victory.

Miguel Cabrera and Ryan Raburn each homered and had a pair of hits for Detroit, which suffered its fifth consecutive defeat and lost its 10th straight game in Cleveland.

Cleveland's Alex White allowed two runs and six hits in six innings in his major league debut.

Tony Sipp (1-0), the Indians' sixth pitcher, picked up the win with two innings of two-hit ball.

Brayan Villarreal (1-1) went 1 1/3 innings for the Tigers, who stranded 11 runners and lost despite their pitching staff recording 17 strikeouts.
