Padres 7, Diamondbacks 6

Wade LeBlanc won for the first time in four starts and the San Diego Padres snapped the Arizona Diamondbacks’ franchise-record home winning streak at 15 with a 7-6 victory on Sunday.

The Diamondbacks stand 8 1/2 games ahead of San Francisco in the National League West following the Giants' 8-1 win over the Dodgers.

Arizona’s magic number remains at eight, and the Diamondbacks fell one-half game behind of Milwaukee in the race for home-field advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

LeBlanc (3-5) cruised through five scoreless innings before giving up Henry Blanco’s leadoff homer in the sixth that triggered Arizona's five-run rally. LeBlanc was pulled after giving up four runs in 5 2/3 innings.

After giving up two home runs and blowing a save opportunity Saturday, Heath Bell pitched a scoreless ninth inning Sunday for his 37th save.

James Darnell, Jesus Guzman and Nick Hundley had two RBIs apiece for San Diego, which salvaged the finale of the four-game series and won for just the seventh time in its last 31 games at Chase Field.

Arizona starter Josh Collmenter (9-9) gave up six runs over four innings and lost for the first time in his last four home starts.
