Blue Jays 6, Orioles 5 (11)

Adam Lind's home run leading off the bottom of the 11th inning lifted Toronto to a 6-5 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday and ended the Blue Jays' five-game home losing skid.

Lind belted an offering from Koji Uehara (1-1) over the right-field wall for his 12th home run of the season. The veteran first baseman finished with two hits and a pair of RBIs and is hitting .438 (14-for-32) with five homers and 12 RBIs in his last nine games.

The extra-inning heroics made a winner of Shawn Camp (1-1), who tossed a scoreless 11th inning for his first victory since Aug. 27, 2010.

Baltimore forced extra innings on Matt Wieters' sixth home run of the season, a two-run shot in the eighth. Wieters launched a Mark Rzepczynski offering into the upper deck for only his second homer in the last 35 games dating back to the end of April.

Jays starter Carlos Villanueva managed to avoid any major trouble until the sixth, but had to settle for a no-decision. The righthander was charged with three runs on seven hits over six frames to remain unbeaten in five starts since being inserted into the rotation.

Baltimore counterpart Chris Jakubauskas allowed four runs on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings. Jakubauskas started in place of rookie lefthander Zach Britton, who was pushed back to later in the week in an attempt to limit his workload.

Aaron Hill added a solo homer for the Jays, his second of the campaign.
